Gupt Vidyā (गुप्त विद्या) is a Sanskrit term meaning “Secret Wisdom” or “Hidden Knowledge.” In the eternal tradition of Sanātana Dharma, it refers to the Divine Wisdom — the accumulated insight of the ages, the unrecorded inheritance of humanity, and the hidden essence behind authentic religion, philosophy and spiritual science.

It is secret not because truth is arbitrarily withheld, but because its deepest meaning requires transformation of the knower. A mind caught in vanity, separateness or desire for power may repeat the words of the teaching without entering its life.

Our Mission

Gupt Vidyā is an independent group of practitioners, researchers and lovers of Sanātana Dharma working to make high-quality knowledge of the tradition accessible to sincere seekers worldwide.

Our goal is to revitalize interest and depth in the study of Śāstras, Tantra, Yoga, Purāṇas and the living practices of the Devīs and Devatās through carefully researched publications, translations and presentations — all offered free of cost and open access.
